Fairfax Fall Brawl

These boys play on 4 different teams during the regular season but came togehter to play fantastic off-season lacrosse and win the 2010 Fall TripleEdge Lacrosse Championship.

Most of them will come together as a team one more time next weekend at the Fairfax Fall Brawl LAX Tournament.

Football Season Has Arrived

Ryan looks forward to his football phone conversations with Kevin. Analysis and commentary, with a bit of taunting, over the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers has created a great bond between these two.

Taste of Fall

We took advantage of the spectacular weather on Saturday and went for a drive to the Shanandoah foothills to pick apples. Then came home and enjoyed apple pie on Sunday.

School Days

Although we tried to get to bed early the house was a buzz with anticipation well past bedtime. The first day of school jitters. By time Madelyn and Ryan came home after school the jitters had given way to non-stop talking about all the exciting happenings planned this school year.

The past few days have been spent making tough decisions, beach or pool?, putt-putt golf or go-kart racing, when to go bowling?, jet skiing? and what time is too early to start drinking the Bourbon Slushies? Everyone has had a great time enjoying the fabulous weather on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Three Men and A Bathroom

Kurt, Ken and Corey have successfully dismanteled the kid's bathroom and started to put in new tile flooring, tile bath surround, granite counter top, faucets, etc.

Worst part of remodeling...the mess!

Best part of remodeling...the Ashpole-Clamp clan has been together each of the last 6 days!

The bathroom looks great so far and I know the kids will love it when complete!

Friendship and Laughter

I enjoyed a fabulous day/evening out with six SPIRITED gals, one HOT limo driver and LOTS of wine! We made it to three vineyards for wine tastings, picniced along the way, then stopped for dinner at Bonefish Grill and back to Lisa's for desert and a sleepover. To my delight I am not hungover today. Must have been the water and Tylenol before bed.

This is certain to become an annual event!

Halloween in July???

After a picnic lunch and an afternoon at the swimming pool, the boys went to the Ashpole's and the girls went to the Clamp's for playtime. The dress for dinner was Halloween costumes. Kids, young and old, had a great day of family fun!
